# Checklist and Reading

> Run a UX, design system, AI or accessibility checklist against a frame or page, and look up terms and lessons without leaving the file.

Next to the coach's findings, **Review** has two more tabs that help you judge your work. **Checklist** walks a frame or a page through a full checklist, ticking the items it can measure by itself as you fix things. **Reading** is a small library: the glossary, the Learn UX lessons and the checklists the coach cites, there to read without opening a browser tab.

## Checklist

1. Open **Review**, **Checklist** on the right.
2. Pick a checklist from the menu at the top.
3. Choose **Frame** to check the frame you are in, or **Page** for everything on the page.
4. Work down the list and tick what is done.

The checklists, all from uxspot.io:

| Checklist | Items |
|---|---|
| UX Checklist | 27 |
| Design System Checklist | 131 |
| AI Product Checklist | 18 |
| Accessibility Quick-Check | 20 |
| Usability Study Planner | 18 |

Items are grouped by topic, each with a count of how many are done. A bar at the top shows your progress, for example **12 of 27**.

Some items are decided from the screen itself. They tick on their own and are marked **measured**, or **fails** with the reason, and they change as you fix the design. The panel says how many items it decided; the rest are yours to tick.

**Clear ticks** empties your ticks for the frame or the page you are on.

The checklists are on Pro. On Free the tab is there, with a line saying so.

## Reading

Open **Review**, **Reading**, and search, or start from **Try a search**. Results come in three groups:

- **Glossary:** 203 UX terms. Each has a definition, **Why it matters**, figures under **In numbers** where there are some, **Related terms** and **Read more**.
- **Learn UX:** lessons from the uxspot.io curriculum, read in order with **Previous** and **Next**.
- **Checklists:** the same five checklists, to read through.

**Back** returns to where you were. Links to uxspot.io open in your browser.

When a coach finding cites a glossary term, its definition opens inside the finding; the full page opens on uxspot.io.

Reading is on every plan.

## Catches

- **Ticks belong to the frame or page.** Switching from **Frame** to **Page** shows a different set of ticks.
- **Measured items follow the design, not your ticks.** Fix the problem to make them pass.
- **The glossary is in English,** even when the coach panel is in French.
- **A lesson not bundled yet** says so, with a link to read it on uxspot.io.
