uxdeck is made by one designer, Soufiane Chraibi. Not a company, not a team: one person designing it, building it and looking after it, together with the people who use it.
Who makes it
I'm Soufiane Chraibi, a product designer, working from Morocco. Since 2021 I have been writing uxspot.io, a free UX reference: a Learn UX curriculum, checklists, a glossary and tools. uxdeck is its canvas, the place where what uxspot teaches turns into the screens you design.
Why I build it
I wanted a canvas that feels like a designer's own tool. One place to lay out frames and prototypes, talk them through with the people you work with, in comments or on a call, and get a second opinion from a UX coach that only speaks up when it can cite where its advice comes from. And when the design is ready, an export that is a real website, motion included, not a picture of one.
What that means for you
- A person answers. Every message, from the contact form, contact@uxdeck.app or a reply to any uxdeck email, reaches me, and I answer it myself.
- Your work stays yours. Your files live in your account, nothing is used to advertise to you, and nothing about you is sold. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
- Built in the open. The motion engine behind exported sites, Scrollwork, is open source, under the MIT license.
- Your ideas land on my desk. Request a feature, at the bottom of Home's sidebar, comes straight to me.
How it is paid for
uxdeck is free while it grows. Paid plans will come later, for heavier use, so it can keep going without ads and without selling anything about you.
