Terms of Service
The agreement between you and me when you use uxdeck: what you can expect from me, what I ask of you, and who owns what you make. How personal data is handled is in the Privacy Policy.

1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of uxdeck (the "Service") at uxdeck.app, the design canvas of uxspot.io. uxdeck is made and run by Soufiane Chraibi, an independent designer based in Morocco ("I", "me"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
uxdeck is a browser-based tool for designing screens and web pages: a canvas with frames and prototypes, comments and voice for working together, a UX coach, an AI agent, and exports to code. I keep improving it, which means features may change, and some are still in early access. Plans and their limits are shown in the app.
3. Your account
- You sign in with Google, GitHub or an emailed link. Keep access to that account or email address secure: whoever can use it can use your uxdeck account.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if it is higher.
- Give accurate information, and one person per account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
4. Your content
What you create or upload in uxdeck (designs, images, text, comments) remains yours. You give me only the permission I need to run the Service for you: to store your content, display it to you and to the people you share it with, and process it for the features you use, such as exports, the coach and the agent. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already exported or shared by you or your collaborators.
You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to what you upload, including images, fonts and logos. When you share a file, the people you give access to can view, comment on or edit it according to that access, and you are responsible for who you share with.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use uxdeck to:
- Break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
- Design or host phishing pages, pages that imitate another company's sign-in, or anything meant to deceive people into giving up passwords, payment details or personal information.
- Spread malware, spam, or content that harasses, threatens or exploits others.
- Try to access other people's accounts or files, probe or get around uxdeck's security, or interfere with the Service, including by overloading it with automated requests.
- Resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product through scraping or automated extraction.
I may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and I will tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it. To report a file or an account that breaks them, or a security problem in uxdeck, write to security@uxdeck.app.
6. AI features
The agent and parts of the coach use AI models to suggest and make changes to your designs. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or similar to other people's work: review it before you rely on it. You are responsible for what you choose to keep and publish.
7. Exports and other services
Code you export from uxdeck is yours to use. Exported motion runs on Scrollwork, uxdeck's open-source engine, under its MIT license. Signing in with Google or GitHub is also subject to their terms. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; I am not responsible for their content.
8. Paid plans
Payments are not open yet, and nothing is charged until they are. Once they open, these terms apply to every paid plan; the plans and prices are on Pricing.
- Who sells it. Paid plans will be sold through a payment provider acting as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipts and invoices. It will be named here before payments open, and its terms of sale apply to the purchase alongside these.
- Price and billing. Pro is billed per editor, monthly or yearly. The price, including tax, is shown before you pay. A plan renews at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- Seats. Someone who is not on Pro takes one of your seats to edit your files or your team’s files. A seat is only added after you say yes to its price. Seats added during a yearly period are billed monthly until your renewal, then join your yearly plan. A seat you give back stays paid until the end of the period it was paid for.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Settings. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: what goes past Free’s limits stays in your account, though some of it may only be viewed until you upgrade again.
- Refunds. If you are not happy, ask within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, monthly or yearly, and you get a full refund. After that, a period already started is not refunded in part. Where the law where you live gives you more, you have it.
- A payment that fails. The payment is tried again over a few days, and you are emailed each time. If it still fails, your account moves to Free until it is paid.
- Price changes. A new price is announced by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
9. Intellectual property
The uxdeck app, its design, the coach's content, and the uxdeck and uxspot.io names and logos belong to me or my licensors. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond using the Service. Open-source parts are governed by their own licenses; their notices are listed in third-party notices.
10. Availability and changes
I work to keep uxdeck available and your content safe, but I provide the Service "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. I do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free. Keep your own copies of work that matters to you: you can save a copy of any file from its menu. I may change or discontinue features; if I ever close the Service, I will give you reasonable notice and a way to take your files with you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Where I am liable, my total liability is limited to the amount you paid me in the twelve months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you have paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using uxdeck and delete your account at any time. I may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content, intellectual property, liability, governing law) continue after your account ends.
13. Governing law
uxdeck is operated from Morocco. These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, and disputes are subject to the courts of Morocco, except where the mandatory law of the country you live in gives you other rights.
14. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. For changes that matter to how you use uxdeck, I will tell you by email or in the app before they apply. Using uxdeck after that means you accept the new terms.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms, or help with uxdeck itself? Write to me at contact@uxdeck.app.
