Design in uxdeck from your AI tool Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and Gemini work on your canvas.

uxdeck speaks MCP, the protocol AI tools use to work in other apps. Connect your tool once, then ask for screens in plain words: it designs on your canvas with your tokens and components, and the UX coach checks every change.

What your AI tool can do

It works on your screens: reads a frame, then creates, moves, restyles or deletes its layers, with auto layout, vectors and imported SVG icons.

It uses your design system: reads and adds tokens for colours, spacing, radii and type sizes, binds layers to them, and uses and makes components, variants and their properties.

With uxdeck open, it works on the file you have open and you watch it happen. With uxdeck closed, it works on the file it chooses in your account, and uxdeck keeps a version named after the tool before its first change.

Set it up

In uxdeck, open Settings, then AI, and choose Create token. Name it, pick when it expires, then use what it shows for your tool. The token is shown once: keep it like a password.

  • Claude Code

Run this in your terminal, then start Claude Code.

claude mcp add --transport http uxdeck https://api.uxdeck.app/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <your token>"
  • Cursor

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, then restart Cursor.

        }

    }
  • Codex

Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml, then restart Codex.

  • Gemini CLI

Run this in your terminal, then start Gemini CLI in a folder you trust.

gemini mcp add --scope user --transport http --header "Authorization: Bearer <your token>" uxdeck https://api.uxdeck.app/mcp
  • Antigravity

Add this to ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json, then restart Antigravity.

  • Claude Desktop, claude.ai and ChatGPT

No token needed. Add a custom connector with this address, then approve it in uxdeck; the approval lasts 90 days. In ChatGPT, on any plan: turn on Developer mode under Settings, Security and login, then in Plugins choose +, Create app, Create MCP App, and keep OAuth.

Good to know

A token can do anything you can do in your files, so it is yours to keep, limit and revoke.

  1. 01

    One token per tool

Give each tool or computer its own token, so you can revoke one in Settings without the others.

  2. 02

    Expiry

You choose it when you make a token: 7, 30, 60 or 90 days, a year, or never. Settings shows when each one ends.

  3. 03

    Undo

Each batch of changes your tool makes is one undo step in uxdeck. Changes made while uxdeck was closed come back from the file’s version history.

  4. 04

    Shared files

What your tool changes reaches everyone in the file, as your own edits would.

  5. 05

    Calls

Free includes 100 calls a week; Pro has no weekly limit.

Things to ask

“Make a sign-up screen for a phone in uxdeck, using my brand tokens.”

“Add a Tablet and a Phone breakpoint to the pricing screen and stack the cards on the phone.”

“Read the checkout screen, fix what the coach finds, and tell me what you changed.”

“Turn the price card into a component with a text property for the plan name.”

“Give me the landing screen as a React component.”

If something goes wrong

“No file is open”: uxdeck is closed and the tool has not chosen a file yet. Ask it to list your files and open one, or open uxdeck on the file you want.

Asked to sign in, or not authorised: the token has expired or was revoked. Make a new one in Settings, then AI, or approve the connector again.

“This week’s calls are used”: Free’s 100 calls come back on Monday, or at once on Pro.

Still stuck? Write to contact@uxdeck.app with what you asked and what the tool answered.
