Blocks

Contact forms

Add a form to a page, choose the address its messages go to, and get every message a visitor sends by email, in your site's name.

Checked against uxdeck on 30 October 2026

The Contact form is a Block that works on your published site: visitors fill it in, press Send, and the message reaches your inbox. It arrives in your site’s name and color, with a Reply button that answers the visitor. uxdeck passes each message on and keeps no copy of it.

Forms send on Pro. On Free, the form shows on your site and tells visitors it is not taking messages.

Choose where messages go, publish, and each message arrives in your site's name.

Add one

Open Blocks in the toolbar and choose Contact form (see Add and style Blocks). It arrives with a name, an email and a message field and a Send button, in your file’s colors. Every part is a layer: restyle it like anything else on the canvas.

Select the form to see its Form section in the Design tab.

Choose where messages go

Messages go to offers your account’s address, and up to three more you add with Add an address.

An address has to be confirmed once before it gets messages. Press Send the confirmation: Cloudflare, which delivers uxdeck’s mail, emails it a link to press. If it is not in the inbox after a minute, look in the spam folder. Once it is pressed, choose I confirmed it and the section says Messages go to that address.

Each form sends to one address. Two forms on one site can send to different ones.

What visitors see after sending

  • After sending: Message keeps visitors on the page and shows a message; A page sends them to another page of your site.
  • Show as: Helper shows the message under the form, in its own layer, Sent. It is hidden on the canvas, because visitors first see the form: show it with its eye in Layers to style it. Toast shows it as a small message at the bottom of the window.
  • When sent and When it fails: the words for each. A message fails, for instance, when the visitor is offline or the form has reached its limit.

Try it in Preview

In Preview, the form checks the answers as on your site, then shows what In Preview says: Sent or Failed. Nothing is sent from Preview, so you can design both messages. Send a real message from your published site to check the email.

Fields

The form lists its fields. Add one with Add a field: Short answer, Email, Phone, Long answer, Choice or Checkbox. Select a field to set what it asks for, the name its answer is sent under, whether it must be filled, and a choice’s options.

Keep a field of the Email kind: its answer becomes the email’s reply address, so Reply answers the visitor.

Your site’s name on the email

The email carries your site’s name and color, never uxdeck’s. The name is the Sender name under Form emails in Deck settings > Site, or the site’s title when you leave it empty. The color is your file’s accent.

Limits and safety

  • 1,000 messages a month and 100 a day per site on Pro. When a form reaches its limit it pauses until the next day or month, and you get one email saying so.
  • Floods stay out: a visitor can send only a few messages in a row, a form takes no message in the first seconds after the page opens, and a field hidden from people catches bots.
  • Never sent: fields that ask for passwords, card numbers, security or one-time codes, or account numbers. The section warns you, and such messages are refused.
  • Mute: every email has a Mute these emails link. A muted address gets nothing until you choose Turn back on in the form’s section.
  • Nothing kept: uxdeck emails each message and keeps no copy. It counts messages per site per day, without their words.

Catches

  • Tell your visitors. You decide what your form asks and what you do with the answers. Add a line under the form that links to your privacy page, so visitors know where their message goes.
  • No confirmation, no messages. A form whose address is not confirmed does not send. The section says so.
  • Preview does not email. Check the real email from your published site.
