Keyboard shortcuts

Every keyboard shortcut in the uxdeck editor, grouped by what you are doing.

Checked against uxdeck on 16 October 2026

These are the keys the editor answers to, in the same groups as the shortcuts sheet inside the app. Press ⌃⇧? in the editor to open that sheet at any time, or choose Help > Keyboard shortcuts in the Deck menu at the top left.

Keys are shown with Mac symbols. On Windows and Linux, most ⌘ shortcuts use Ctrl, and ⌥ is Alt. On Windows, Use as mask is CtrlAltM.

Catches

  • Your browser keeps some keys. ⌘T and ⌘W belong to the browser, which is why new file and close tab use ⌥.
  • Single keys need the canvas in focus. While you type in a field or a text layer, R is the letter R. Press Esc to leave the field first.
  • Preview listens to your screens first. If a screen has a key press interaction, that key goes to the screen, not to Present.
